Raw Savory Basil Soup

Learn how to make this fresh and healthy soup enjoyed raw or hot, depending on how long you blend it. Run your Vitamix or Blendtec commercial blender on the highest speed in order to heat up the soup. The longer you let it run the hotter it will get. If you are a raw foodist, you will love this soup!


Filtered water 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Savoy cabbage head 1 Small
Bell pepper 1 Medium , chop
Ripe tomatoes 2 Medium , chop
Fresh basil leaves 1 Bunch (100 gm)
Avocado 1/2 Medium
Dulce leaves 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Green onions 2 Small , chop
Garlic 2 Clove (10 gm) , peeled



1. In the vitamix place the filtered water, savoy cabbage, bell pepper, ripe tomatoes, fresh basil leaves, avocado, dulce leaves, green onions and garlic.

2. Start off with speed 1 and slowly increase to speed 10 and then flip to high.

3. Blend for 45 seconds for raw soup and for hot soup blend for 6 minutes.


4. Serve the Raw Savory Basil Soup immediately.


If using a blendtec use the soup button, and press one time for raw soup and 3 times for hot soup.
