Cream Of Potato Soup

Bacon slices 4 , diced
Frozen chopped onions/Fresh 1 Cup (16 tbs) (Ore
Hot water 1 1/2 Cup (24 tbs)
Frozen hash browns 3 1/2 Cup (56 tbs) (Ore
Salt 1 1/2 Teaspoon
Milk 2 Cup (32 tbs)
Pepper 1/8 Teaspoon



1. In a large pan, place the bacon and cook the bacon till crisp and cooked through.

2. Remove the bacon and set aside to drain on paper towels.

3. Remove the excess fat but set aside two tablespoons aside for use.

4. Add the onions to the pan and add the fat from the bacon to the pan drippings and cook the onions till they are golden and tender.

5. Add the water, frozen Southern Style Hash browns and salt and milk and mix well

6. Bring this mixture to a rolling boil and mix constantly. Reduce heat once the mixture comes to a boil and simmer while stirring constantly until the mixture is hot and thick

7. Season with pepper


8. Garnish with parsley and serve hot
