Italian sausage | 1 Pound | |
Low sodium chicken broth | 48 Ounce (((1 package))) | |
Italian seasoning | 1 1/2 Teaspoon | |
Canned diced tomatoes | 14 1/2 Ounce (((1 can))) | |
Brown lentils | 1 Cup (16 tbs) |
MAKING:
In a large pot, combine onions, carrots, garlic, celery, butter and saute until translucent.
Add sausage and cook until browned.
Add chicken broth, seasoning, diced tomatoes, brown lentils and mix well.
Cover with a lid and allow to simmer for about 1 hour.
