Potato Leek Soup - Cooking For Beginners

You can put together a delicious pot of potato leek soup in no time. Soup tastes simply delicious when it is made fresh full of tasty fresh ingredients.


Butter 2 Tablespoon
Sliced leeks 3 Cup (48 tbs) (whites only)
Diced potatoes 3 Cup (48 tbs)
Chicken stock 1 Quart
Heavy cream 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Salt To Taste
Pepper To Taste



In a saucepot, saute leeks in butter.

Add potatoes and simmer for 20-30 minutues.

Add heavy cream and season with salt and pepper.

Using an immersion blender, blend soup until smooth.



Serve and enjoy!
