Dont just eat your veggies, drink them too! This recipe allows you to slip greens into your smoothies without anyone knowing, and since the celery expands the flavor profile of a traditional berry smoothie, it makes a perfect addition to your regular berry smoothie recipe. This recipe makes 2 large smoothies, however I often make extra to freeze them as afterschool snacks or as breakfast popsicles that the children adore, allowing us to eat them on the go.
Banana | 1 Large (fresh or frozen)
Blueberries | 2 Cup (32 tbs) (fresh)
Coconut water | 10 Ounce | |
Celery | 4 (stalks) | |
Frozen peaches | 1 Cup (16 tbs) |
MAKING
1. Thinly slice 4 Biggest Loser Celery stalks into small pieces – using smaller pieces allows you to blend celery regardless of the blender you are using. Once cut, add the celery to your blender.
2. If you are using fresh banana, break smaller pieces into your blender. If you are using frozen banana, cut medallions of frozen banana and then add it to your blender along with the frozen peaches and fresh blueberries.
3. Add the coconut water to your blender, and then blend until smooth.
SERVING
4. Serve right away.
