Black Pepper Shrimp - Floyd Cardoz's Inspired Recipe

The Top Chef Masters winner and North End Grill chef talks about his childhood inspirations and then shows the steps to one of his favorite recipes.

Ingredients

Shrimp 12 , cleaned, peeled, deveined
For marinade:
Black pepper 2 Tablespoon
Coriander seeds 2 Tablespoon
Olive oil 2 Tablespoon
Salt To Taste
Canola oil 1 Tablespoon (to grease the grill)
Lemon juice 1 Dash

Directions

GETTING READY:

Grind black pepper and add coriander seeds. Repeat grinding.

In a bowl mix cleaned shrimps with the ground mixture, add olive oil to it and allow the shrimp to stay with marinade for 2 hours. (Maximum time-24 hours)

MAKING:

Grease the griller with canola oil, sprinkle salt over the shrimp and grill the shrimps in the skewers (as shown in the video).

Grill the shrimps for 3-4 minutes. Ensure not to overcook the shrimp.

Drizzle little lemon juice over shrimps.

SERVING:

Serve and enjoy!
