This energy filled shake is a great way to start your day. If you are hungry and not in a mood to cook, you will get all the nutrients, with one serving of this revitalizer.


Date 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) , deseeded (khajoor)
Milk 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Banana 1/2
Honey 1 Tablespoon
Ice cubes 5


Broad non stick pan



1. In a broad non-stick pan, heat the milk, add dates, and cook on medium heat for a minute or two. Turn off heat, and let the dates soak in milk for 10 - 15 minutes until they get soft and the milk gets cold.


2. In the mixer, combine together date-milk mix, banana and honey, along with ice-cubes, and blend until smooth.


3. Serve immediately.
