Ingredients

Butter 1 Tablespoon
Onion 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) , minced
Celery 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) , minced
Crab meat 1 Pound
Bread crumbs 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Eggs 3 Large
Mayonnaise 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
All purpose flour
Dijon mustard 1 Tablespoon
Parsley 1 Tablespoon , chopped
Old bay seasoning 2 Teaspoon
Worcestershire sauce 1/2 Teaspoon
Cayenne pepper 1/4 Teaspoon
Hot pepper sauce 1/4 Teaspoon
Cracked black pepper 1/2 Teaspoon
Salt 1/4 Teaspoon
Butter 2 Tablespoon (For Sauteeing)
Oil 2 Tablespoon (For Sauteeing)
Lemon wedges 4 (For Garnish)

Directions

GETTING READY

1) Prepare the ingredients.

MAKING

2) In a small saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.

3) Add the onion and celery; saute 3 to 5 minutes until onion is translucent.

4) In a mixing bowl, combine crab meat, sauteed vegetables, bread crumbs, eggs, mayonnaise, flour, mustard, parsley, Old Bay seasoning, Worcestershire sauce, cayenne pepper, pepper sauce, black pepper and salt.

5) Shape mixture into 8 patties.

6) Heat 1 tablespoon each oil and butter in a large saute pan; add 4 patties and brown on both sides.

7) Repeat with remaining oil, butter and crab meat patties.

SERVING

8) Serve the crab cakes as side dish.
