Orange Sauce

Ingredients

Sugar 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Cornstarch 1 Tablespoon
Orange juice 2/3 Cup (10.67 tbs)
Water 1/3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
Butter/Margarine 2 Tablespoon
Orange peel 1 Tablespoon
Lemon juice 2 Teaspoon

Directions

GETTING READY

1) Arrange all the ingredients.

MAKING

2) In 1-qt casserole combine sugar and cornstarch.

3) Add orange juice.

4) Microwave at High 2 to 2 3/4 minutes, or until sauce thickened, stirring 2 or 3 times during cooking.

5) Add remaining ingredients to the sauce and blend well.

SERVING

6) Serve the sauce warm over gingerbread or cake.
