Stir Fried Pork in Garlic Sauce

Ingredients

Lean boneless pork 1 Pound
Cornstarch 2 Teaspoon
Salt 1 Teaspoon
Soy sauce 1 1/2 Tablespoon
Sesame oil 2 Teaspoon
Vegetable oil 2 Tablespoon
Mushrooms 4 Large , sliced
Green onion 4 , sliced
Sliced water chestnuts 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Minced garlic 2 Teaspoon
Minced ginger 2 Teaspoon
Crushed red pepper 3 Teaspoon
Water 2 Tablespoon
Soy sauce 2 Tablespoon
Sherry 1 1/2 Tablespoon
Sugar 2 Teaspoon
Salt 1/2 Teaspoon
Hoisin sauce 1 Teaspoon
Hot cooked rice 1 Cup (16 tbs)

Directions

GETTING READY

1) Freeze the pork partially and then cut diagonally into 2x1/4-inch strips.

MAKING

2) Take the cornstarch, salt and soy sauce and mix them.

3) Add pork to them and mix them well.

4) Take a wok and heat it. Add sesame and vegetable oil to the wok.

5) Add pork and stir-fry for 4 minutes.

6) Remove the pork from the wok and now add mushrooms, onions, water chestnuts, garlic, ginger and red pepper. Stir-fry for a minute.

7) Add pork and again stir-fry for 2 minutes.

8) Take water and mix 2 teaspoons of cornstarch.

9) Add cornstarch mixture along with the remaining ingredients (except rice) to the wok.

10) Cook for a minute.

SERVING

11) Portion into 4 individual serving bowls over rice or noodles.
