Chicken Cordon Bleu With Golden Cream Sauce

Whole boneless chicken breasts 2 1/2 Pound , halved and lightly pounded (3 Breasts)
Swiss cheese slice 6
Cooked ham slice 6
Butter/Margarine 2 Tablespoon
Ground nutmeg 1/4 Teaspoon
Pepper 1/4 Teaspoon
Golden onion soup mix 1 Ounce (Lipton, 1 Envelope)
Light cream/Half and half 1 Pint (2 Cups)
Water 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Hot cooked noodles 1 Cup (16 tbs)



1. Cover each chicken breast with half the slice of cheese and ham and roll up. Secure in place with wooden toothpicks

2. In another skillet, melt the butter and brown the chicken.

3. Drain the excess fat and add nutmeg, pepper and golden onion soup mix blended with cream and water to the pan. bring this mixture to the boil and then simmer covered for 20 minutes till cooked through and chicken is tender


4. Serve hot by pouring the chicken and sauce over the hot noodles.
