Home Made Cranberry Sauce is a delicious accompaniment to any Christmas feast. Cranberries are combined with sugar, orange juice and freshly grated orange rind.. Thick, fruity, sweet and tart, this sauce is perfect with turkey, ham or other Christmas meats - give it a go!
Cranberries | 300 Gram (Fresh or Frozen) | |
Brown sugar | 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) | |
Orange juice | 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) | |
Finely grated orange rind | 1 Teaspoon | |
Cinnamon stick | 1 |
MAKING:
In a saucepan, combine cranberries, brown sugar, orange rind, orange juice, cinnamon stick and stir over medium heat until sugar dissolves.
Bring to boil, reduce temperature and allow to simmer for few minutes.
Remove cinnamon stick and allow to cool.
Transfer to a container, cover with cling wrap as shown in the video and chill for 1 hour.
