Asparagus with Cream Sauce

Do you love Asparagus? Looking for a new way to prepare your asparagus? This asparagus with cream sauce is a very simple recipe to prepare. You will need fresh asparagus, lemon, and a few more ingredients to make this lovely side dish.


Unsalted butter 3 Tablespoon
Finely chopped shallots 2 Tablespoon
Asparagus 1 Pound , trimmed
Salt 1/2 Teaspoon
Black pepper To Taste , freshly cracked
Heavy cream 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Fresh lemon juice 1 Tablespoon



In a pan, heat the butter and add in shallots. Sauté for a few minutes.

Add in the asparagus and stir for a few minutes. Season with salt and pepper and toss.

Pour heavy cream and let it simmer for 5 minutes.

When asparagus is about to be done just season with fresh lemon juice.



Garnish with lemon slice and serve.
