Unsalted butter | 3 Tablespoon | |
Finely chopped shallots | 2 Tablespoon | |
Asparagus | 1 Pound , trimmed | |
Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
Black pepper | To Taste , freshly cracked | |
Heavy cream | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Fresh lemon juice | 1 Tablespoon |
MAKING
In a pan, heat the butter and add in shallots. Sauté for a few minutes.
Add in the asparagus and stir for a few minutes. Season with salt and pepper and toss.
Pour heavy cream and let it simmer for 5 minutes.
When asparagus is about to be done just season with fresh lemon juice.
SERVING
Garnish with lemon slice and serve.
