Homemade Nacho Cheese Sauce Recipe - Super Bowl Recipe

If you're interested in learning how to make your own Nacho Cheese sauce here's a recipe that you may want to give a try. It only has a few ingredients and it takes about 15 to 20 minutes.


Butter 3 Tablespoon
All purpose flour 3 Tablespoon
Whole milk 16 Fluid Ounce (2 cups, cold)
Kosher salt 1/2 Teaspoon
Cayenne pepper 1/4 Teaspoon
Shredded sharp cheese 1 Pound
Cayenne pepper 1 Teaspoon
Kosher salt To Taste



1. Melt butter in a pan. Add flour, whisk and cook until the raw flour is cooked well.

2. Pour cold milk, whisk to combine well. Whisk it well.

3. Move the heat upto medium high and bring up the sauce to boil. Turn the heat off.

4. Season with salt and cayenne pepper.

5. Drop in the cheese and let it melt.

6. Set up a double boiler and place a glass bowl over it.

7. Pour the cheese into the bowl and let it sit until ready to serve.



8. Laddle spoonfull of cheese sauce over the nachos. Enjoy.
