Betty's Cream Cheese Sauce for Vegetables- Thanksgiving

Betty demonstrates how to make Cream Cheese Sauce for Vegetables. This sauce will be used in the next video from Betty's Kitchen.


Butter 2 Tablespoon
Finely chopped red onion 1 Tablespoon
Flour 2 Tablespoon
Milk 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Cream cheese 3 Ounce , cut in chunks
Salt and pepper To Taste
Chopped fresh parsley 1 Tablespoon



1. Place a saucepan over low flame and melt butter in it.

2. Add onion, cook until softened and then stir in flour. Cook butter, onion, and flour mixture for just a minute or so over low heat, stirring until thickened and smooth.

3. Pour milk, stir constantly and cook until sauce is smooth and creamy.

4. Season with salt and pepper and then add cream cheese. Stir and cook until cheese is melted.

5. Stir in chopped fresh parsley and remove from heat.



6. Serve immediately over vegetables of your choice and enjoy!
