Grilling - Homemade BBQ Sauce

Ahhhhh sweet sweet Summer is here. Do you know what that means? Pool parties, boat days, beach days, and most importantly grilling out days. I dont know about you but Im a sucker for some good BBQ and this my friends is a great BBQ sauce. I made it for my family and my brother could not get enough of it. Its so easy to make your own BBQ sauce and in my opinion its a lot of fun to play with different flavors and see exactly what you and your family likes. This is how my family likes it and Im excited to share it with you all!


Ketchup 1 1/4 Cup (20 tbs)
Dark brown sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Water 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Pineapple juice 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Molasses 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Juice of lemon 1/2
Dry mustard 1 1/2 Teaspoon
Paprika 2 Teaspoon
Cayenne pepper 1 Teaspoon (1/2
Garlic powder 1 Teaspoon
Onion powder 1 Teaspoon
Worchestershire sauce 1 Tablespoon
Salt and pepper To Taste



In a small saucepan, mix together all the ingredients and heat over medium high heat. Bring to a boil and simmer for about 5-7 minutes until the sugar has dissolved.



Smear the sauce over your choice of meat and grill. Serve and enjoy!
