Summer Sangria

Light corn syrup 3/4 cup
Lemon juice 1/3 cup
Yellow food coloring 8 drops
Sparkling water 2 cups, chilled
Ice as needed
Port 2 cups



1. In a pitcher, mix together light corn syrup, lemon juice, and yellow food coloring.

2. Add sparkling water and stir to mix.


3. Into 4 tall glasses, pour equal quantity of corn syrup mixture.

4. Add crushed ice or ice cubes.

5. Gradually pour ½ cup wine into each glass.
