You may not have ingredients like mustard paste, foot long bread and colored capsicum at hand, but with a little planning you can create a truly appetizing vegetable sandwich. Honey, mustard paste and butter combine to make a very tasty and distinctively flavored spread.

Long bread rolls 2 (12" each)
Honey 4 Tablespoon
Melted butter 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Mustard paste 2 Teaspoon (Readymade)
Iceberg lettuce leaves 8
Tomato slices 24
Cucumber slices 24
Capsicum strips 1 Cup (16 tbs) (red and yellow)
Fresh basil leaves 16
Salt and ground black pepper To Taste

1. In a bowl, combine honey, melted butter and mustard paste. Mix well and set aside.

2. On a dry flat surface, place the breads and cut both into halves. You will get four 6-inch long pieces. Cut each piece horizontally into half.

3. Apply a little prepared honey-mustard paste on each of the bread halves.

4. Place the lower half of bread pieces on the work surface with the honey-mustard spread side facing upwards.

5. Place two ice-berg lettuce, 6 tomato slices, 6 cucumber slices, ¼ cup colored capsicum strips and 4 basil leaves over each.

6. Sprinkle a little salt and pepper. Place the upper half of bread piece with the honey-mustard spread facing downwards and press them lightly.

7. Serve immediately.
