Blue Cheese Steaksandwich - A great recipe for Grill and Smoker.
Beef steak | 600 Gram , sliced | |
Shallot | 6 , peeled, chopped | |
Chilli pepper | 1 , chopped | |
Blue cheese wedge | 1 , chopped | |
Bacon slices | 7 | |
Salt | To Taste | |
Pepper | To Taste | |
Ciabatta roll | 1 | |
Hot sauce | 2 Tablespoon | |
Honey | 1 Tablespoon | |
Lettuce leaves | 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) |
GETTING READY:
Preheat the grill.
MAKING:
Grill bacon slices in indirect heat. Chop into small pieces.
In a cast iron pan, fry the steak slices. Add shallots, chiles and cook for 2 minutes.
Add salt, pepper and stir well.
Add blue cheese, close the lid and cook until blue cheese melts.
For assembling, place lettuce over ciabatta roll and top with meat mixture. Top with hot sauce, honey and grilled bacon pieces.
