This recipe is one of my go-to ways to prepare salmon. It is extremely simple and it tastes wonderful. You will need salmon, brown sugar, soy sauce, and a little bit of olive oil. If you really want to get fancy you can add some lemon. I used a little bit of my Try the World French Box Fleur de Sel in this recipe.

You will make a simple marinade using equal parts of brown sugar, olive oil, and soy sauce. Simply mix the ingredients up, pour over salmon. Bake for about 15 minutes or so at 350 degrees and you are done with this easy to prepare recipe.

Ingredients

Salmon 1 Pound
Brown sugar 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Soy sauce 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Grapeseed oil 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Juice of lemon 1

Directions

GETTING READY

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

MAKING

In a baking dish, place salmon skin side down. Set aside.

In a small bowl, combine brown sugar, soy sauce, and olive oil. Whisk marinade together until the sugar dissolves.

Pour over salmon. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until fish easily flakes when a fork is pressed into the flesh.
