Broccoli, Bean Sprouts and Green Peas Salad (Healthy Salad) by Tarla Dalal

A combination of antioxidant and fiber rich greens like broccoli and green peas with bean sprouts is an asset for weight-watchers. The sesame seeds add a unique taste to this salad.


Broccoli florets 1 Cup (16 tbs) , blanched
Beans sprouts 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Boiled green peas 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Finely chopped spring onions 3/4 Cup (12 tbs) (with greens) (Optional)
For dressing
Olive oil 2 Teaspoon
Salt To Taste
Powdered sugar 1/4 Teaspoon
Black pepper powder 1/4 Teaspoon
Soy sauce 1/2 Teaspoon
Lemon juice 1/2 Tablespoon
For garnish
Roasted sesame seeds 2 Teaspoon



1. In a bowl, add broccoli, green peas, beans sprouts and spring onion. Toss well and keep aside.

For Dressing:

2. In a small bowl, mix olive oil, salt, sugar, black pepper powder, soy sauce and lemon juice.

3. Pour the dressing over salad and toss gently.


4. Serve immediately garnished with sesame seeds.
