Garden Salad

This is a mixed salad that has been pepped up with chicken sausages to make it richer in protein. It is good for health and especially satisfying during a hot summer day when the idea of rich meals seem revolting.


Onion 2
Carrot 1 Large
Cabbage 1/2 Small
Red cabbage 1/2 Small
Potatoes 4 Small
Tomatoes 4 Medium
Bell pepper slices 1/10 Gram
Button mushrooms 1/10 Gram
Chicken sausage 5
Salt and pepper mixture To Taste
Lemon juice 4 Drop
Mustard (condiment) 1 Teaspoon



1. Wash and chop all the vegetables coarsely.


2. Boil the potatoes and cut them into four pieces.

3. Blanch the cabbage.

4. Grill the chicken sausages.

5. Grill the button mushrooms.

6. Take a bowl and mix all the vegetables, mushrooms and sausages together.

7. Add the salt and pepper and mix it well.

8. Add the mustard and lemon juice and toss the salad until all the ingredients are coated properly.


Serve it hot or cold.
