You can serve a salad caprese in a martini glass. This makes a fun and very easy appetizer. This appetizer salad takes just moments to prepare, all you need is tomatoes, fresh basil, olive oil, kosher salt, and some balsamic vinegar.
Cherub tomatoes | 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) | |
Mozzarella cheese | 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) | |
Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
Olive oil | 2 Tablespoon | |
Basil leaves | 8 ((about 5 torn or shredded)) | |
Balsamic vinegar reduction | 2 Teaspoon |
MAKING
1. In a bowl, add the cherub tomatoes.
2. Add the mini mozzarella balls.
3. Drizzle in the olive oil.
4. Season with salt.
5. Add torn or shredded basil and give it all a toss.
6. Use martini glasses to serve them. Spoon the salad in them.
SERVING
7. Drizzle reduced balsamic vinaigrette and garnish with a few whole basil leaves as shown in the video. Enjoy.
