Kachumber - Indian Salad

A salad which not only is delicious, but looks vibrant too.

Ingredients

Onion 1 Medium , finely chopped
Cucumber 1 , finely chopped
Tomatoes 2 Medium , finely chopped
Carrot 1 Medium , shredded
Beet root 1 Small , shredded
Cumin powder 1 Teaspoon , roasted
Lemon 1/2 Medium , juiced
Salt 1 Pinch (to taste)
Cilantro leaves 3 Tablespoon , finely chopped
Red chili powder 1 Pinch (to taste)
Lemon zest 1 Tablespoon

Directions

MAKING

1. In a small bowl, add in all the finely chopped and shredded vegetables.

2. Add in the finely chopped cilantro and season it with roasted cumin powder, salt, lemon juice and red chili powder. Toss well.

SERVING

3. Serve the bowl of kachumber with 2 slices of toasted garlic bread or a bowl of rice.
