Betty demonstrates how to make Beet and Apple Salad. This recipe was sent in by Tori Durham of Burlington, Ontario Canada. It is a large salad -- great for a potluck dinner.


Granny smith apples 5 (cored and diced)
Cooked beets 3 Can (30 oz) , dice
Shredded carrots 10 Ounce (1 package)
For dressing
Red wine vinegar/Apple cider vinegar 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Sugar 1/4 Teaspoon
Honey 3 Tablespoon
Coarse salt To Taste (freshly ground)
Freshly ground black peppercorns To Taste



In a very large bowl, gently mix together apples, beets, and carrots. Add dressing ingredients and gently toss. 


Cover with plastic wrap and chill until ready to serve.
