Betty demonstrates how to make her Gorgeous Grape Salad. This is a salad that contains both red and green seedless grapes and has a luscious dressing of cream cheese, sour cream, brown sugar, and pecans.
|Cream cheese||8 Ounce , softened|
|Sour cream||8 Ounce|
|Vanilla extract||1 Teaspoon|
|White sugar||1/2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Red seedless grapes||1 1/2 Pound (rinsed and patted dry with paper towel)|
|Green seedless grapes||1 1/2 Pound (rinsed and patted dry with paper towel)|
|Brown sugar||1/2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Chopped pecans||1/2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Place red and green grapes in large bowl and set aside.
In a medium bowl, use a mixer on medium speed to blend cream cheese and sour cream until smooth.
Blend in vanilla and ½ cup white sugar.
Pour over grapes in large bowl and stir to cover grapes.
Sprinkle brown sugar evenly over top.
Sprinkle pecans evenly over top.
Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate 2 hours (or overnight).
