Hot Buttered Rum

This will put a twinkle in your eye!

Ingredients

Brown sugar 2 Cup (32 tbs)
Butter 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) , sliced
Salt 1⁄8 Teaspoon
Cinnamon sticks 4 (4 inch each)
Cloves 5
Nutmeg 1⁄2 Teaspoon
Hot water 2 Quart
Rum 2 Cup (32 tbs) (light or dark)

Directions

MAKING

1. In a slow cooker, add brown sugar, butter, salt and spices.

2. Add hot water. Stir well. Cover and cook on low setting for 5 hours.

3. Stir in the rum and mix well.

SERVING

4. Serve in warm mugs garnished with nutmeg.
