Apple Pie Roll Ups is a simple sweet recipe, perfect for last minute snacks or a budget friendly dessert. Sandwich bread is rolled up with tinned apples and coated in melted butter and cinnamon sugar. Baked until golden and crisp, these little babies are best served with a little whipped cream or ice cream - give it a go!
|Sandwich bread slices||10 , trim off crust|
|Canned pie apple||400 Gram (1 can, apple pie filling)|
|Butter||50 Gram , melted|
|White sugar||1/2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Ground cinnamon||1 Teaspoon|
Preheat oven to 350°F/ 190°C.
Line baking tray with parchment paper.
Roll out bread using rolling pin.
Mash the chunks of apple filling.
Place over bread and roll.
In a bowl combine cinnamon, sugar and mix well.
Dip into melted butter and dredge into cinnamon sugar.
Place on baking tray and pop into oven.
Bake for 10-15 minutes or until golden brown.
