Ladi Pavs, or Pav, or Pao, or Buns or Dinner Rolls.. These are amazing aren't they? But making them at home can be cumbersome? Well not now.. Here's a super easy recipe to make Perfect Feather Soft, Fluffy, Spongy Pav without eggs and oven.. Yes, these Eggless Ladi Pavs are made without oven, exciting right? Ingredients

Milk 100 Milliliter
Yeast 1 Teaspoon
Sugar 1/2 Tablespoon
Plain flour 125 Gram ((1 Cup))
Salt 1/2 Teaspoon
Milk powder 9 Gram ((1 Tablespoon))
Butter 10 Gram ((2 Teaspoon))
Milk 2 Tablespoon ((For brushing))
Butter 1 Tablespoon ((For greasing))
Oil 1 Tablespoon ((For greasing))

Directions

MAKING

1. Mix sugar and milk. Add instant yeast and mix that as well. Keep it in a wam spot to bloom the yeast.

2. Drop in the flour on a working platform. Add salt and milk powder to it and mix that in.

3. Add the yeast mix and fold everything together. Add butter and knead for about 15 minutes until it all comes together.

4. Coat a bowl with oil. Place the dough in the bowl and cover it. Let it sit in a warm place for about an hour.

5. Sprinkle some flour and knead the dough again for a couple of minutes. Weigh the dough and divide it into equal portions.

6. Roll the dough portions into smooth balls. Place the balls in a baking dish. Cover and let them sit in a warm place for another hour.

7. Meanwhile, heat a big pan on the stove. Add 2 cups of salt, place a wire mesh and a perforated pan on top. Place the lid on the pot and let it heat on medium heat for sometime.

8. Place the tins with the dough balls gently in the pan. Brush the balls with milk on top. Put the lid back on the pot.

9. Bake the buns for about 15 to 18 minutes on medium to high heat.

10. Remove the buns from the pot. Brush them with some butter and then cover them with damp tea towel. Let them rest for about half an hour.

11. Loosen them from the sides of the pan with a small knife.

 

SERVING

12. Enjoy the buns with some bhaji or vadas.
