Chipotle'S Mexican Grill Cilantro Lime Basmati Rice

Chipotles is known for making up everything fresh. Every time you go in there, they are busy preparing their signature dishes. Their rice is honestly, one of our favorite parts of their menu. This rice is seasoned perfectly with the cilantro and lime juice. This makes an excellent side dish on its down. If you enjoy rice, dont miss this savory rice. Vegetable oil/Butter 1 Teaspoon
Cilantro 2 Teaspoon , chopped
Basmati rice 2/3 Cup (10.67 tbs)
Water 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Salt 1/2 Teaspoon
Lime 1


In a 2-quart heavy saucepan, heat oil or butter over low heat, stirring occasionally until melted. Add rice and lime juice, stir for 1 minute. Add water and salt, bring to a full rolling boil. At boiling, cover, turn down to simmer over low heat until rice is tender and the water is absorbed, about 25 minutes. Fluff rice with a fork. Before serving stir in cilantro.
