Prime Rib on the Pit Barrel Cooker

Perfect for the holidays! Prime Rib cooked on the Pit Barrel Cooker! Easy!!!

Ingredients

Prime rib 1 3/4 Pound (at room temperature)
Beef marinade 1 Cup (16 tbs) (stubbs)
Coarse sea salt To Taste
Black ground pepper To Taste
Herb blend 3 Tablespoon (as needed)

Directions

GETTING READY

1. Heat cooker for 15 minutes.

MAKING

2. Coat meat generously with the beef marinade and season with salt, pepper, and herb blend on all sides. Tie the meat with twine.

3. Put the hooks and hang meat into the cooker. Cook for 2 ½-3 hours or until the internal temperature reaches 120 degree F.

4. Remove meat from heat, wrap loosely with foil and let rest for 30 minutes.

SERVING

5. Crave meat and serve hot!
