In this video, Betty demonstrates how to make Prime Rib. This is a very easy method for preparing a prime rib roast that is medium-rare/medium-well done in the center.

Boneless rib eye roast 5 Pound
Garlic cloves 6 , thinly sliced
Table salt To Taste (to cover all of outside of roast)
Freshly ground black peppercorn To Taste (to cover all of outside of roast)

1. Preheat oven to 350 degree F.

2. Pat dry roast and with a paring knife make small slits about 3 inches apart.

3. Insert a thin garlic slice into each slit and generously salt and pepper the outside.

4. On a rack in a roasting pan, place the roast and pop in oven. Cook for about 2 hours or until the internal temperature reaches 135 degrees F for medium-rare/medium-well.

5. Remove from oven, place on a cutting board and tent with aluminum foil. Let rest for 10 to 15 minutes.

6. Carve and serve with au jus gravy.
