Who says you can't make great ribs in the oven? Everyone without a BBQ should rejoice that they too can have great tasting ribs!
Packed brown sugar | 3/4 Cup (12 tbs) (50 ml) | |
Cider vinegar | 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) (50 ml) | |
Lemon zest | 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) (50 ml from about 4 medium lemons) | |
Garlic cloves | 6 Medium , chopped finely | |
Coarse salt | 2 Tablespoon | |
Paprika | 4 Teaspoon | |
Freshly ground black pepper | 2 Teaspoon | |
Ground allspice | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
Baby back pork rib racks | 2 |
GETTING READY
1. In a bowl, combine brown sugar, vinegar, lemon zest, garlic, salt, paprika, black pepper, and allspice. Whisk well.
2. Coat ribs evenly with the rub on all sides. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
3. Preheat oven to 325 degree F or 160 degree C.
MAKING
4. Remove ribs from refrigerator and let them come to room temperature.
5. Line a baking sheet with foil and place ribs meat side up on it.
6. Pop the sheet in oven and bake for 90 minutes or just until knife tender.
SERVING
7. Serve with slaw and enjoy!
