Beef Short Ribs are an inexpensive cut of meat that tastes wonderful. Rich tender meat is slow cooked in the oven for hours. These Beef Ribs are often sold in expensive restaurants, but you can make these at home. They are simple to make and the flavor is amazing.

Chopped onion | 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) | |
Celery ribs | 3 , chopped | |
Olive oil | 2 Tablespoon (Leveled) | |
Seasoned salt | To Taste | |
Paprika | To Taste | |
Beef broth | 4 Cup (64 tbs) | |
Beef short ribs | 4 | |
Garlic cloves | 2 , chopped (Optional) | |
Parsnips | 1 , peeled and chopped |
GETTING READY
1. In a plate, place the short ribs, and sprinkle them with seasoned salt and paprika on both the sides.
MAKING
2. In a heavy bottom pan, heat olive oil and sauté carrots, celery and onion.
3. Add in some salt and stir well to mix and allow to cook until the onions are soft.
4. Remove the vegetables, and set aside.
5. In the same pan, add in the seasoned ribs, and sear on all the sides until they are light brown in color.
6. Take the ribs out of the pan, and add in the beef broth, and scrape the sides and bottom of pan.
7. Put back the ribs and vegetables, put the lid on, and allow to cook for 2 to 3 hours.
8. Turn of the heat and allow to cool for 5 minutes.
SERVING
9. Serve hot as desired.
TIPS
You can also add more flavor to this by adding garlic and parsnip.
