The Worlds best Dutch oven Ribs only requires 7 ingredients! Easy to make, this recipe can be used in your home oven or better yet, at camp with your family and friends.
Rack of ribs | 1 , trimmed, washed, pat dried (I prefer St. Louis cut) | |
Red bell pepper | 1 , deseeded, sliced into rings | |
Yellow bell pepper sauce | 1 , deseeded, sliced into rings | |
Red onion | 1 , peeled, sliced into rings | |
Honey mustard | 4 Tablespoon (to coat) | |
Bbq rub | 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) | |
Bbq sauce | 18 Ounce (1 bottle, Trader Joe’s Kansas City BBQ sauce) | |
Beer | 12 Fluid Ounce (1 bottle) |
GETTING READY:
Preheat the oven to 350°F.
MAKING:
Layer a bed of sliced vegetable rings (bell peppers and onion) inside the oven.
Coat the ribs with honey mustard and bbq rub to taste.
Place the marinated ribs on the top of the layer of vegetables.
Top with a thick layer of bbq sauce and pour beer around the sides and bottom of the rib.
Cook for 2-3 hours at 350°F until the meat turns soft.
