In this video, Betty and her husband, Rick, have lunch at Cafe Burrier on the campus of Eastern Kentucky University. EKU is the place where Betty and Rick met, during their first class (English 101) that they attended at the university, beginning fall, 1966.

In this video, you will see the classroom buildings where Rick and I met, where we had our first date, and where Rick spent his career as a lawyer in the College of Justice and Safety. We also show you a few other points of interest at EKU.

Our lunch was at Cafe Burrier, which is run by students of EKU, under the supervision of the Department of Dietetics, which offers a Bachelor's degree in Dietetics. A Master's degree in Community Nutrition is also offered.

Our lunch consisted of strawberry salsa with pita chips, beef medallions with chimichurri sauce, zucchini bread, grilled green beans cherry tomatoes, and homemade peach ice cream with a sugar wafer cookie for dessert. It was all delicious!

Rick and I enjoyed our little trip down memory lane, and hope you enjoy it, too!
