Ham and Vegetable Quiche

Ingredients

10 inch pie pastry 1
Cauliflower 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) , chopped
Carrots 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) , chopped
Onion 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) , chopped
Green pepper 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) , chopped
Ham 2/3 Cup (10.67 tbs) , chopped, cooked
Cheddar cheese 4 Ounce , shredded (1 cup)
Eggs 3 , beaten
Milk 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Salt 1/2 Teaspoon
Cauliflower flowerets 3 (as required)
Fresh parsley sprigs 3 (as required)

Directions

MAKING

1)Take a 10-inch quiche dish and line it with pastry, trim the excess part.

2)Bake at 425° for 5 minutes by pricking the bottom and side of the pastry with a fork.

3)Cool the batter.

4)Cook cauliflower,carrots,onion and green pepper in boiling salted water for 5 minutes till tender.

5)Layer ham and vegetables in pastry shell and sprinkle with cheese.

6)Combine eggs, milk, and salt and beat it well.

7)Pour the mixture into pastry shell.

FINALIZING

8)Bake at 375° for 40 to 45 minutes or until set.

SERVING

9)Before serving keep it aside for 10 minutes.

10)Garnish with cauliflower flowerets and parsley.
