Quiche Lorraine -Hilah's French Brunch

Quiche Lorraine is the classic bacon quiche. It's simple and rich and really, who doesn't love bacon and eggs?


Pie crust 1
Diced bacon 6 Ounce
Eggs 3
Milk 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Heavy cream 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Salt 1/2 Teaspoon
Pepper 1/4 Teaspoon
Grated nutmeg 1/4 Teaspoon
Diced cheese 4 Ounce (optional)



Preheat oven to 400°F.



Place pie crust in a pan and trim the edges as shown in the video.

In a pan, cook bacon for almost 5 minutes until fat is rendered and begins to turn crisp.

Spread it over the crust and top with cheese.

In a bowl, beat together milk, eggs, cream, salt, pepper, nutmeg and pour over crust.

Pop into oven and bake for 10 minutes at 400°F. Reduce temperature to 350°F and bake for 20 minutes.
