Cheesy Puffs, quick starter recipe


Khari biscuits 10
Grated processed cheese 10 Teaspoon
Hot and sweet sauce 5 Teaspoon
For the topping
Butter 1 Tablespoon
Finely chopped capsicum 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Plain flour 1 Tablespoon (maida)
Milk 3/4 Cup (12 tbs)
Boiled sweet corn kernels 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) (makai ke dane)
Red chilli flakes 1 Teaspoon
Salt To Taste



For the topping 

In a broad non-stick, heat the butter.  Add capsicum and sauté on a medium flame for 30 seconds. 

Add plain flour, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 30 seconds, while stirring continuously. 

Add milk, mix well and cook on a medium flame for another 1 to 2 minutes, while stirring continuously. 

Add corn, chilli flakes and salt, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 1 more minute. 

Keep aside. 


Place the khari biscuits on a clean, dry surface, put a little topping over each khari biscuit. 

Sprinkle 1 tsp cheese over it and spread ½ tsp hot and sweet sauce evenly over it. 

Bake in a pre-heated oven at 200°C (400°F) for 5 to 7 minutes or till the cheese melts. 


Serve immediately with iced tea.
