Baked Chocolate Custard Pudding Cups

Baked pudding..a special holiday treat!


35% cream 2 Cup (32 tbs)
Milk 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Vanilla extract 1 Teaspoon
Dark chocolate 150 Gram
Whole eggs 2
Egg yolks 3
Sugar 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)



1. Preheat oven to 300 degree F.


2. Place a saucepan over high heat, add cream, milk, vanilla, and chocolate in it. Stir constantly until the chocolate melts. Let it come to a boil. Remove pan from heat and set it aside.

3. In a small bowl, combine egg, egg yolks, and sugar. Whisk well.

4. Gradually pour hot milk mixture into the bowl with egg. Mix well.

5. Take 6 ramekins, and pour mixture equally into it. Place ramekins into a water bath.

6. Pop it in oven, and bake for 45 minutes or until set.

7. Remove ramekins from water bath, and allow it to stand for 15 minutes.


8. Serve baked chocolate custard pudding immediately.


Keep whisking egg while adding hot milk. Remember that you need to just temper the eggs, and not cook them.
