Ingredients

Stale bread 12 Ounce , soaked for 10
Brown sugar 2 Ounce (55 Gram)
Mixed fruit 3 Ounce (85 Gram, Including Peel)
Vegetable suet 1 Ounce (30 Gram)
Mixed cake spice 2 Teaspoon (1 Heaped Teaspoon)

Directions

GETTING READY

1. Preheat the oven to 225°F/110°C (Gas Mark 14)

MAKING

2. Mix all ingredients properly

3. Bake in greased ovenproof dish for about 3 hours in warm preheated oven

SERVING

4. When cold, cut into slices and sprinkle with coconut or finely chopped almonds.
