Homemade Soft Pretzels!

Soft pretzels are so fun to make! Homemade pretzels are perfect for Oktoberfest parties, game day, or pretending you are back in middle school hanging out at the mall eating Auntie Anne's Soft pretzels.


For the "bath":
Warm water 4 Cup (64 tbs)
Baking soda 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
For the pretzels:
Bread flour 3 1/4 Cup (52 tbs)
Warm water 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) (100
Brown sugar 1 Tablespoon
Beer 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) (lager preferred)
Active dry yeast 1/4 Ounce (1 package)
Soft butter 2 Tablespoon (plus a little more)
Salt 2 Teaspoon
Kosher salt/Flaked sea salt 2 Tablespoon (for sprinkling)
