Easy to prepare with 6 simple ingredients, these crispy prawns or shrimp are bursting with flavor!
Prawns/Shrimps | 300 Gram | |
Finely chopped garlic | 2 Tablespoon | |
Sambal oelek | 2 Teaspoon | |
Light soy sauce | 1 Tablespoon | |
Oil | 2 Tablespoon | |
Spring onion | 1 , sliced | |
For slurry | ||
Cornstarch | 1 Tablespoon | |
Flour | 1 Tablespoon | |
Salt | To Taste | |
Water | 1 Tablespoon |
MAKING
1. For slurry – in a small bowl, mix together all the ingredients.
2. In a large bowl, mix together all the ingredients except the oil and spring onion. Toss well.
3. Pour in the slurry and toss again.
4. In a pan, heat oil and place the prawns in small batches. Cook until crispy and take out on a paper towel.
5. When last batch is about to done, add in the green onion and take out the prawns. Sauté the onions for a few seconds.
SERVING
6. Serve the prawns with some condiments.
