Quick Bacon Wrapped Prawns

The wrapped prawns is a refined and tempting appetizer, ready in just a few minutes... seeing is believing!


For prawns
Prawns 12 Medium
Bacon slices/Lardo 12 Medium
Rosemary To Taste
For the dip
Extra virgin olive oil 1 Tablespoon
Salt 1 Teaspoon
Cannellini beans 250 Gram
Cracked black pepper 1/2 Teaspoon
Paprika powder 1/4 Teaspoon



1. Shell the prawns leaving the tail intact, take a lined baking pan, take a slice of lardo and wrap it around the prawn. Arrange the prawns in the baking pan. Garnish with rosemary.

2. Bake at 350°F (180°C) for 10 minutes, just enough to melt the fat.

3. Blend the cannellini beans, drizzle a little oil, add salt, pepper and a pinch of paprika. Then process everything until you have an even mixture.


4. Serve prawns and the dip - a mouth-watering combination.


Replace lardo with unsmoked bacon or raw ham.

You can use any other type of bean or chickpeas.
