Roast Sweet Potatoes With Honey Lime Glaze

Roast sweet potatoes are so delicious with my honey lime glaze and other spices. It's a great way to jazz it up.


Sweet potatoes 3 Pound , peeled, cut into 1 inch chunks
Olive oil 3 Tablespoon
Chili powder/Cayanne 1 Teaspoon
Salt To Taste
Chopped cilantro 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
For the glaze
Honey 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Fresh lime juice 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Ground cinnamon 1/4 Teaspoon
Chili powder 1/2 Teaspoon



1. Preheat the oven to 425 F.


2. In a large bowl, toss together the sweet potatoes and olive oil.

3. Using your fingers, sprinkle some of the chile powder over the potatoes. Stir and repeat the process with rest of the powder.

4. Spread the sweet potatoes over the baking sheet. Using a rubber spatula, scrape out all the oil. Season with salt and roast for 20 minutes. Check the sweet potatoes after 10 minutes and turn them over.

5. Meanwhile prepare the honey lime glaze – in a small bowl, whisk together all the ingredients.

6. When the potatoes are done, brush on the glaze mixture and return to the oven for an additional 5 to 10 minutes.


7. Place the potatoes in a serving dish and garnish with cilantro. Serve and enjoy!
