Outback Steakhouse Baked Sweet Potato

Have you ever wondered how the Outback Steakhouse makes its famous baked sweet potato? A baked sweet potato is topped with honey butter, brown sugar, and a dash of cinnamon makes for a tasty side dish.

Ingredients

Sweet potato 1 Medium , washed
For the honey butter
Butter 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) , softened at room temperature
Honey 2 Tablespoon
Cinnamon 1 Dash
For the topping
Cinnamon 1 Pinch
Brown sugar 1 Tablespoon (As needed)

Directions

MAKING

1. Wrap a sweet potato in foil and place in the oven and baking for about an hour until soft.

2. In a bowl, put together butter, honey and cinnamon. Stir until well combined and set this aside.

FINALIZING

3. Once the potato is done baking, remove from the oven, cut open the potato as shown in the video.

4. Sprinkle some cinnamon, brown sugar followed by a spoon of honey butter.

SERVING

5. Serve warm and enjoy!

NOTE

The prepared honey butter (if any leftover) can used to top more servings of sweet potatoes.
