Mashed Potatoes, this is how we do it. Here's a great mashed potato recipe that will have your guest's mouth's watering and wanting to go back for seconds. We take mashed potatoes to the max by adding cream cheese, butter and half and half. Who said mashed potatoes needed to be healthy? These are extra indulgent.
Yukon gold potatoes, | 2 1/2 Pound , peeled, diced into 2 inch pieces | |
Cream cheese | 6 Ounce , softened | |
Butter | 4 Tablespoon , softened | |
Half and half | 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) , warmed | |
Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
Pepper | 1 Teaspoon |
GETTING READY
1.Peel and dice the potatoes.
MAKING
2.Put the potatoes into a saucepan and add water till the potatoes are covered.
3.Bring this to a boil,turn down the flame to low and simmer, covered, for about 15-20 minutes or until fork tender. Drain thoroughly.
4.Put the potatoes through a potato ricer and collect it into a large bowl.
5.Add rest of the ingredients and stir until thoroughly blended.
SERVING
6.Serve warm.
