Crispy Smashed Potatoes - Easy Side Dishes

Whats the one food that we all love no matter how its prepared? For our family its potatoes! As we move into the winter you can find all over the farmers market and grocery store are potatoes! Ive been buying the most gorgeous baby potatoes so sweet and creamy inside theyre literally addictive! If you're looking for a Thanksgiving side or an easy potato recipe during the week you have to make these Crispy Smashed Potatoes!

Ingredients

Baby potatoes 2 Pound
Olive oil 2 Tablespoon
Salt To Taste

Directions

MAKING:                        

Boil baby potatoes in a pot with water for 20 minutes or until fork tender.

Drain potatoes and allow to cool.

Smash the potatoes as shown in the video.

Heat a saucepan and grease with oil.

Place the potatoes in pan over medium to high heat.

Sprinkle salt and cook for 5-6 minutes (per side) or until crispy and golden brown.

 

SERVING:
