Pigs feet | 4 | |
Soy sauce | 2 Tablespoon | |
Sherry | 2 Tablespoon | |
Ginger slice | 2 | |
Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
Hot water | 2 Cup (32 tbs) | |
Sugar | 2 Teaspoon |
Wash the feet well and cut each into quarters.
Put in a heavy saucepan with the sherry, soy sauce, ginger and salt, turn up the heat and add the hot water slowly.
When it is boiling, turn down the heat, cover and simmer for 2 hours.
Add the sugar and continue cooking for another hour.
When ready the meat and bones should be nearly falling apart and the gravy very thick.
Serve in a deep bowl.
