Slow Cooked Smothered Pork Chops

Slow Cooked Smothered Pork Chops is a simple, delicious, easy to make main meal that can be made in a slow cooker / crock pot. Pork Chops are browned and combined with vegetables and a savoury sauce, then slow cooked until tender. Perfect for weeknights or lazy weekend dinners - give it a go!


Pork chops 6 (loin chops)
Sweet potato 1 Large , peeled, chopped
Potatoes 2 Large , peeled, chopped
Carrots 3 , peeled, chopped
Brown onion 1
Garlic 2 Clove (10 gm) , crushed
Vegetable stock 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Canned cream of celery soup 400 Gram (1 can)
Olive oil 2 Tablespoon
Salt To Taste
Pepper To Taste



Sprinkle salt and pepper over pork chops.

Heat oil in a frying pan and brown pork chops in it.

Once done, transfer to a bowl.

Saute onion and garlic in same pan.

Combine pork chops, onions, garlic, potatoes, carrots, sweet potatoes, vegetable stock, cream of celery soup in a crockpot and cover with a lid.

Cook in high setting for 3 hours.



Serve and enjoy!
